The mechanical tension meter MKM with the motorized take-up wheel enables adjusting e. g. yarn brakes at creel bobbins and sewing machines under similar conditions. The motor has a take-up speed of 8 respectively 15 m/min by using a 9 Volt rechargeable Li-Ion battery. The hand-held unit is available in 3 measuring ranges form 10 - 50 cN up to 50 - 400 cN. The ball bearing mounted, v-grooved guide rollers with excellent operating characteristics are available in different designs. The analog display shows changing and fluctuating tensions fast and enables an optimal process adjustment. The handle can be reverse for left or right hand use.
