Description

The tension meter of series ET with a measuring head as small as possible and the roller on long shafts are optimal usable for textile applications at hard to reach places with limited access space. The unit is available with 3 tension ranges from 0.5 – 100 cN up to 3 – 2000 cN as basic unit and extended version. The tension meter saves MIN-, MAX, last reading, average and standard deviation. The extended version provides additional to the USB interface a memory for max. 60000 readings, split on max. 999 measuring periods, as well as 5 memory modes with statistical evaluation and PEAK capture. The models are available with v-grooved guide rollers for max. 2000 m/min or ceramic pins up to max. 6000 m/min. The colored, backlighted TFT display rotates for better reading in 90° steps and has 3 different display modes (numeric, numeric with live bargraph and numeric with graph). To simplify working with different materials, up to 3 material curves can be saved and adjusted for similar material by using the fine tuning. Operations with the tension meter will be facilitated by the automatic zero-setting in each measuring position, as well as the adjustable electronic damping, which is used, when tension fluctuates.
