The Universal Testing Machine has a maximum capacity of 5000 N for force-displacement-measurements or constant-force-measurements. It also has a programmable traverse path and feed velocity. The unit is used to determine tensile strength, stretching, peeling, crushing and friction; also friction tests, long term test and shear force. Delivery includes a software for data processing via RS-232 interface. The integrated microprocessor can be controlled by the keypad or with the software via PC. To ensure wrong operation of the machine max. capacity and traverse path can be limited. Two mechanical stops can be set.
