The Harken Access Rail system is designed for use as an adjustable anchorage point for external maintenance on buildings. This system provides the operator freedom of movement at height and the ability to lock into position while working. No need for a large, expensive cradle access system which calls for compromises in a building’s architecture.
Ease of use: Using Harkens captive ball bearing system, the car runs smoothly no matter what plane the system is mounted on. Large high-load D shackles accommodate multiple karabiners.
Hard wearing: The Access Rail system is designed for extreme marine conditions and requires only minimal maintenance, even when installed in exposed situations.
Safe: The system is designed for single-person use. The typical working load limit is 100 kg (220 lb), with a maximum working load of 300 kg (661 lb) when used for rescues. The pinstop feature allows the carriage to be locked in position while working at height.
Design: The low-profile rail blends well with the architectural design, while still meeting the requirements of EN795.
