Robot switching cabinets from häwa are available in two versions: as a cobot base frame and a modular cobot base frame. The two base frames are based on a stabilised switching cabinet that can be expanded on a modular basis if desired. The robot switching cabinets or cobot housings consist of a closed, stabilised body that is produced very cost-effectively thanks to its simple design. The switching cabinet itself contains the electronic processes of the robots or cobots, which are controlled from there.
The housing is protected to IP 55, there are doors on the front and back, and the body also has built-in filters, fans and mounting plates. The corners and edges of the cobot housing are stabilised on the inside to make the switching cabinet even more load-bearing. If required, the interior can be separated or additional locking castors, adjustable feet or handles can be fitted. Depending on the application, you can choose from a range of different materials for the worktop, including aluminium, aluminium grooved profile, powdered steel or wood.
Special features of the modular cobot base frame
The modular cobot base is the extended version of the simple cobot base with several floors or functional levels. Here, the housing can be extended with a separate base - for example, with a base level for transport with a pallet truck or forklift. Another option is to install a functional level with control panels below the worktop. Another level for switches, monitors, keyboards, drawers or additional storage space is also possible. The installation of further functional levels can be carried out individually according to customer requirements.
