But what does working with a cobot actually look like? Cobots are collaborative robots that are modelled on the human arm and are even more articulated. This allows them to effectively take on simple, monotonous, repetitive or potentially hazardous work and work alongside a skilled worker as an assistant. To ensure maximum safety, cobots are equipped with special sensors that stop working immediately if a human gets too close. Therefore, unlike a robot, a cobot does not require a protective enclosure. It can work directly at the work table with a human. This cooperation requires special robot tables for cobots that enable the individual work steps to run smoothly.
