The KADM type pressure reducing valve acts as a copier valve (LS booster valve). In a hydraulic system with a variable pump and a closed centre load sensing valve (CC-LS valve), the copier valve boosts the LS signal reported to the pump controller of the variable pump and thus compensates for oil leakage losses in the LS line or at the pump controller. By boosting the LS signal(LS+), the KADM ensures that a sufficiently high p is provided at the CC-LS valve and there are no speed losses with the consumers.
The KADM is often used in combination with the variable pumps type V60N or C40V and the proportional directional spool valve type PSV.
