The ZBA series is a range of anti-backlash assemblies from Kerk®. It is ideal for applications that demands precise positional accuracy. The series is manufactured for operations that needs a smooth and constant movement such as printing, scanning, and coordinate measurement systems. The standard unit functions with a self-lubricating polyacetal nut that is pre-loaded on a 303 stainless steel acme lead screw. The ZBa series is also constructed with the capability of manually adjusting the drag torque setting in order to meet the requirements of the application. the drag torque can also be adjusted at the factory to adhere to various customer specifications. Its design is also integrated with inherent damping qualities which is adequate for noise and vibration control.
