The NTG series which is patented, offers a low-cost anti-backlash assembly. These find use in applications that are in need of precise positional accuracy, smoothness and repeatability. The NTG offers zero backlash with minimal drag torque to applications that are needing it. The compact NTG can easily be placed into customer specified parts that are also custom molded. The NTG can manually adjust the drag torque setting. The design has the ability to adjust the drag torque manually to match specific application requirements. The NTG unit has a self-lubricating polyacetal nut on a 303 stainless steel acme lead screw. The end machining can be done as per customer specifications and the Kerkote® TFE screw coating happens to be an optional choice.
