Composite rod is mainly used for wear protection and cutting application surfacing of tools in oil drilling and exploration, coal mining, construction, agriculture, chemical and food processing industries. It is made from tungsten carbide particles and matrix metal fusion such as Cu, Ni, Zn. And Fe Etc.
Composite rods is make up of tungsten carbide particles in a Cu (or Ni, Zn or Fe) binder for a few cutting and wear applications. Carbide factory offer “W” grade for enhanced wear resistance, “C” grade for cutting works.
