Description

CLIN treatments offer high wear resistance (abrasive and adhesive), which can be combined with excellent corrosion resistance. These advantages open up numerous outlets in the automotive, construction equipment, household appliance, hydraulics, oil & gas, food, tooling and weapons industries... CLIN treatments can thus solve technical problems by replacing conventional heat treatments (case hardening, induction hardening, etc.) and other surface coatings (hard chrome, electroless nickel, etc.), but can also be a solution in order to reduce costs. Application examples : CLIN technologies play a key role in the evolution of requirements impacting modes of transport. They are at the heart of vehicle electrification and particle emission limits, by significantly improving the performance of braking and transmission systems.
