SURFACE TREATMENT FOR OPTICAL APPLICATIONS
HEF has developed a thin multilayer PVD treatment, useful for optical coatings (reflectors, anti-reflective solutions) and offers a wide range of solutions.
It's a range of thin films used for optical coatings such as reflectors, anti-reflective solutions and filters to provide a wide range of solutions for photonic components.
Thin films deposited with very high thickness precision and well-controlled optical quality lead to very high reflective surfaces, used to design reflectors based on metal coatings or dielectric multilayers.
Broadband anti-reflective coating using PVD coatings to reduce reflectance below 1% for almost all types of substrate (glass, PC, PMMA, etc.). This coating makes it possible to reconcile these various essential elements while providing other advantages linked to the implementation process: dimensional accuracy, gap quality, negligible effect on object mass, etc.
Features :
- Wide range of depositable materials: chrome, aluminum, gold, specific alloys
- High purity of coatings
- Control of thickness and surface finish
- Resistance to chemical aggression (depending on filler materials)
- Application on large parts
Materials that can be treated:
- Glass - Plastics - Organic matrix composites - Ceramics - Cermets - Metals and alloys
Application examples:
- Visors - Screens - Flacons - Architecture - Lenses
