Unlike familiar drive solutions such as lifting plates, there is no weakening of the nozzle side due to a cavity behind the hot runner system in which the lifting plate or large-surface pistons move back and forth. All movable elements interlock, with the mass of the moving elements reduced to a minimum.
Additionally, almost all components of the SYNCRO-VALVE system have a form-fit connection to the mould, thus preventing buckling or tension within the nozzle side.
Depending on the design type, SYNCRO-VALVE has excellent dry-run properties, making it suitable for cleanrooms and for temperature ranges above 100 °C.
