Classic pin drive in which the valve pins are combined in a plate assembly behind the hot runner system. The plate assembly can be moved via pneumatic or hydraulic actuators, which are typically installed outside of the mould. The valve gate lifting plate is an economical solution for multi-cavity applications and is especially suitable for narrow cavity spacing and low mould heights.
