TRT II is a unique transfer radiation thermometer used for the calibration of other IR instruments. ( ie: pyrometers, thermal cameras and blackbodies )
TRT II is offered with high quality calibration certification performed at the HEITRONICS lab. Many clients prefer certification to be performed at the German National Lab PTB or, they send TRT II to a national lab located in their respective country. HEITRONICS quotes and organizes certification at PTB upon request.
The most unique feature, among several unique performance features, is that TRT II contains both the 8 ... 14 micron spectral range and a narrowband spectral range centered at 3.9 microns. Only one spectral range at a time can be selected by the user.
The standard measuring ranges are -50 ... 300 deg. C for 8 ... 14 microns and 150 ... 1000 deg. C for 3.9 microns. Optional ranges covering -50 to 2000 deg. C are available on request.
The optical resolution has been optimized using a 47mm zinc selenide objective to produce exceptional energy collection and superb size-of-source characteristics.
HEITRONICS offers a variety of transfer standards in addition to TRT II.
