TRT IV.82 is highly respected worldwide as a transfer radiation thermometer used for the calibration of other long-wavelength IR instruments. ( ie: IR thermometers, pyrometers, thermal cameras, blackbodies and plate radiation sources ) Its 8 ... 14 micron spectral range is well suited for the mass market of IR temperature measurement.
TRT IV.82 is offered with high quality calibration certification performed at the HEITRONICS lab between -20 ... 1000 deg. C. Many clients prefer certification to be performed at the German National Lab PTB or, they send TRT II to a national lab located in their respective country. HEITRONICS quotes and organizes certification at PTB upon request.
The standard measuring range is -50 ... 1000 deg. C.
Optional ranges as wide as -50 ... 2000 deg. C are available on request.
The optical resolution has been optimized using a 47mm zinc selenide objective to produce exceptional energy collection and superb size-of-source characteristics.
HEITRONICS offers a variety of transfer standards in addition to TRT IV.82.
