Additive for the reduction of copper, brass and other nonferrous metal attacks in metal- machining machines and in cooling circuit systems and other water-bearing recirculating systems • For preventative treatment. • Immediately soluble. Use in cooling lubricant emulsions and solutions: Cu-lnhibitor is added to freshly mixed emulsions at a concentration of 0.2 litres to 100 litres. The follow-up dosage takes place proportional to the cooling lubricant dosage. Important: Experience has shown that the dosing of Cu-lnhibitor to emulsions, which already contain a high degree of copper soap (green colouring), immediately leads to a discharge of copper soap, which can then be filtered off. Experience has shown that the adding of Cu-lnhibitor can already dissolved cobalt be precipitated and filtered off, or skimmed off. For this purpose Cu-lnhibitor is added in portions of 1 litre per every cubic metre of solution or emulsion, until no dissolved cobalt can be detected after 1-2 hours.
