AXIAL ANTI-BACKLASH NUTS Helix Linear Technologies offers a full line of anti-backlash nuts, including axial anti-backlash nuts. Axial anti-backlash nuts consist of two nut halves biased against opposite flank angles with a compression spring. This axial style of anti-backlash nut provides the simplest means of taking up backlash while keeping price low.
