Module AM900 has communication interfaces: RS485, 4G modem (LTE Cat M1 / Cat NB1 / EGPRS). The AM900 module is used to periodically record the Kamstrup OMNIPOWER meters and send readings to the server using LTE Cat NB1 technology. There is no need to manually trace an individual meter, and the data is delivered in an appropriate form. The LTE Cat NB1 technology allows for less power consumption of a device that uses this data transfer and ensures better signal coverage.
