Description

The DC803 is an industrial device designed to automate the process of collecting data from utility meters (electricity, water, gas). Communicator DC803 communicates with HRN EN 62056-21 protocol meters via RS485 bus or via pulse inputs in accordance with HRN EN 62053-31. Based on the data obtained, the DC803 generates a load curve in its memory, which can then be read by the protocol HRN EN 62056-21. Outside, the communicator can access the GSM data call (CSD) or TCP / IP protocol over the GPRS connection. The protocol used is HRN EN 62056-21. The DC803 communicator is used to connect to an existing power meter for the purpose of collecting data about the current (15 minute) power measured by the meter and storing the collected data in its own memory. Collected data can be read in the form of a load curve of the meter in the same manner as when read directly from the meter. This is appropriate in situations where direct access to the meter and its communication interfaces is not possible in order to estimate the load curve. The DC803 communicator enables: • Saving data on the strength measured by the meter and the measurement time (load curve) • Remote reading of the load curve (GPRS / GSM) • Local Load Curve reading (RS-485 bus) • Memory capacity is sufficient for data collected every 15 minutes during 85 days Additional functionality of the DC803 is: • Remote reading of meters connected to RS-485 bus (also load curves) • Remote Firmware Upgrade (GPRS / GSM)
