HS04 Wireless Optical and Euridis Probe Bluetooth probe HS04 enable the wireless reading and parameterization of the electricity, gas and thermal energy meters according to the protocols: • EURIDIS (IEC 62056-31) • OPTICAL (IEC 62056-21) • DLMS / COSEM • ANSI C12.18 Thanks to standardized mechanical interfaces (“bajunet” interface for meters with EURIDIS communication and magnetic, strong neodymium permanent magnet for meters with optical access), the probe is independently held by the meter or terminal terminal box, and enables the worker of the distribution to conveniently handle the hand terminal or PC- em. The handheld terminal needs to have bluetooth communication and installed an appropriate user application. The handheld terminal takes over energy consumption data sent by the HS04 probe and stored in the memory for further processing to the host computer. It is also possible to perform parameterization of meters (activation of new tariffs, registration of leased power or consumption limits, exclusion of consumers, etc.). The capacity of the built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery is sufficient to work in one 8-hour shift. The battery charger is supplied as an integral part of the kit. To conserve battery life, the HS04 probe automatically switches to stand by mode if there is no traffic for more than 60 seconds, thereby saving the battery by allowing smooth 8-hour field operation without the need for additional charging. Using the LE diode probe, the HS04 returns feedback on battery status and traffic, making it easier for the user to operate.
