The Phascope PMP10 Duplex by Fischer is a Portable coating thickness gauge which used for identifying different variation of lacquer thickness. May it be measure from zinc of iron coating or on an aluminum coating. This is the ideal tool for modern automative industry wherein different components on the body of a device is mixed. The unit uses a three principle when identifying coating thickness measurement. It uses a phase sensitive eddy current method, amplitude eddy current principles and magneto inductive method. When using a phase sensitive method, its all about determination of covering lacquer coating. For magneto inductive method, it is used when measure the entire thickness of lacquer and zinc coating. For Phase sensitive eddy current, it is used to measure precisely the zinc coating within a thickness of 0-100µm.
