The pleated metal mesh filter cartridge is very suitable for extreme environments, high pressure and harsh environment applications with corrosive fluids. These elements eliminate the harmful effects of media migration and provide precise filtration control for particles larger than micrometers. Through blowback or other techniques, the components can be easily cleaned to restore their service life. They are available in various standard sizes to fit industry standard filter housings, as well as various non-standard sizes and configurations.
The filter medium is made of a multi-layer sintered composite mesh structure, which forms good permeability and high tensile strength through sintering and bonding. Complex multi-layer structure in a pleated structure to optimize usable area. These nets can be made into a diffusion bonding form to improve the performance safety of pore shape and size, and have the largest pore size range of any filter media type.
The sintered metal composite mesh media is manufactured in various weaving forms. Plain weave can be simply screened by a variety of weaving methods (Dutch twill weave, wide mesh twill and single plain weave). These stainless steel wire cloth materials are made of 304 or 316, providing the most comprehensive selection of surface filtering functions. The working temperature range of the pleated sintered metal fiber filter cartridge is -269°C (-452°F) to 1000°C (1832°F) and can withstand a typical maximum pressure difference of up to 25bar (363psi) (normal flow direction). Various micron grades from 3µm to 300µm (nominal) are available.
