Description

A lightweight, space saving, ready to mount system with a ball screw for excellent accuracy and performance in a cost effective package. Lightweight and space saving – PSD works well for applications using small, lightweight components, and is perfect for working in compact working areas. Flexible and configurable – Modular system allows optimised solutions for specific application requirements. Available with either ball screw or leadscrew drive options. Herculane® wheel technology – PSD features the same Herculane® wheels as seen in the PDU2, which gives excellent load capacity and durability with quiet operation. The low friction synthetic wheels offer a long service life and are low maintenance as no lubrication is required. Ready to mount – This off-the-shelf solution reduces design and installation costs by easily integrating into systems that require accurate positioning in a compact environment. PSD comes in two sizes; 80mm and 120mm, and is available in a large range of stock lengths Stainless steel cover available to effectively seal the unit from debris Works well in Z-axis applications Double acting PSD80 available The beam profile is compatible with the Hepco MCS aluminium frame construction system, and can be assembled into multi-axis systems with Hepco PDU2 and PDU2M units
