The Orange Peel Grab is designed for gripping and handling of materials, generally used in various areas such as handling municipal solid waste (msw), scrap, etc. The grabs are robustly engineered for heavy duty applications and in a dusty environment. Drive is provided by an electric driven hydraulic system. The crane operator controls the entire lifting process from the crane cabin, by lowering the open grab onto the material. Closing the grab is carried out by hydraulic power. The electrical circuit to the control box is carried out by plug-in connection. This enables quick removal of the tong from the crane.
