The Mitsubishi S16R PTA2 is a 1580 kW rated diesel engine unit with a four stroke-cycle setup and a direct injection feature. This is a turbocharged and aftercooled unit that has a 16V cylinder arrangement setup and a 64.37L displacement. This also uses water for coolant, and works with 420 litres of fuel usage per hour when it is used at its highest level of energy. This also works with a 0.8 g/kwh consumption load at the most and can handle 230 litres of oil at a time when tubes and filters are included. This unit also has an electric air filter plus separate filters for fuel and oil. The unit is finished off with a 24V electrical system and an exhaust gas compensator.
