This Mitsubishi direct injection diesel engine runs on a 4 strokes-cycle. Model S12H PTA has a turbocharged and aftercooled aspiration, 12V cylinders and a rated output of 980 kW prp or 1080 kW on standby. It works on an water cooling system with a displacement of 37,11 L. The bore and stroke sizes are 150 x 175 mm. The engine uses lube oil API CD or CF SAE 30 or SAE 40. It features a compression ratio of 14.0:1 with a fuel consumption of 268,14 l/h on standby. At 100% PRP it is 243,31 l/h; at 75 % PRP, 184,81 l/h and 130,96 l/h at 50 % PRP. It is 87,17 l/h at 25 % PRP. The total oil capacity is 244 L and the lube oil consumption is 0,8 g/kwh for a full load. The water cooled diesel engine has a 24V electrical system, an electric governor, WT and OP senders, hot components and radiator guards, and mobile components guards.
