This Mitsubishi S12R PTA direct injection diesel engine runs on a 4 strokes-cycle with a turbocharged and aftercooled aspiration, 12V cylinders and a rated output of 1140 kW prp or 1270 kW on standby. Its cooling system runs on water cooling system. With a displacement of 49,03L and bore and stroke sizes of 170 x 180 mm, it has lube oil specifications of API CD or CF SAE 30 or SAE 40. Its compression ratio is 14.0:1. The fuel consumption (l/h) is 100% PRP; 283.04 to 50% PRP; 159.55 and 315.31 on standby. The total oil capacity is 335L (180L with tubes and filters) and the lube oil consumption is 0.8 g/kwh for a full load. The 24V electrical system, an electric governor, dry air filter, 304 inner diameter exhaust pipe and standard filters for oil, air and water, WT and OP senders, hot components and radiator guards, and mobile components guards are other features.
