The HIMOINSA MTU 18V2000G85 engine, diesel water-cooled, four strokes-cycle with direct-injection type, has an output of 1,143kW prp and on standby it is 1,262kW. The bore/stroke is 130 x 150mm with a compression ratio of 6. On standby, the fuel consumed is 309,22l/h and at 100% PRP, fuel consumed is 281,13l/h whereas at 50% PRP, consumption is 147,49l/h. It has a mechanical governor, dry air filter and the exhaust pipe’s inner diameter is 140,5mm. The electrical system is 24V. The radiator has a blowing fan and radiator guards from hot areas. It has a visible water separator decanter filter. The total capacity for oil is 216L and it has an 18V, 35,82L cylinder arrangement with both turbocharged and aftercooled aspiration.
