This HATZ diesel engine runs on a 4 strokes-cycle with a direct injection type. Model 1D 81C has a natural aspiration, one vertical cylinder and a rated output of 4.9 kW prp or 5.4 kW on standby. It works on an air cooling system with a displacement of 0.667 L. The bore and stroke sizes are 100 x 85 mm. The engine uses lube oil CCMC-D4-D5-PD2/API CD-CE-CF-CG/SHPD. It has a mechanical governor with guards for hot and mobile components as well as the radiator. Its total oil capacityis 1.9 L with lube oil uptake being 1% of the fuel oil consumed. The generator has 4 poles and an S-5 6,5" frame mounting. It has H class insulation and an IP23 enclosure compliant with IEC-34-5 standards. The single bearing generator has a capacitor voltage regulator and a flexible coupling disc. It has a standard (vacuum impregnated) coating. The self-regulated exciter system is brushless.
