This HATZ diesel engine runs on a 4 strokes-cycle with a direct injection type. Model 2L 41C has a natural aspiration, 2-L cylinders and a rated output of 13.5 kW prp or 15 kW on standby. It works on an air cooling system with a displacement of 1.716 L. The bore and stroke sizes are 102 x 105 mm. The engine uses lube oil CCMC-D4-D5-PD2/API CD-CE-CF-CG/SHPD. It has a 12V electrical system with a mechanical governor, dry air cleaner, and guards for all hot components, mobile components and radiator. Its oil capacity is 4.7 L and it consumes lube oil at 0.2% of fuel consumption at full load. The generator has 4 poles and an S-5 8" frame mounting. It has H class insulation and an IP23 enclosure compliant with IEC-34-5 standards. The single-bearing 4-pole generator has an AVR (electronic) voltage regulator and a flexible coupling disc. It has a standard (vacuum impregnated) coating. The self-regulated exciter system is brushless.
