BIO-SILICO® and SILICOSEN® stoppers are sterilized to provide excellent hygienic performances in applications involving culture media. They are produced via a specialized procedure that provides them with standardized pores. They are thus well suited for use in the preparation and dis-infection of culture sources. The uniformity of the pores and the excellent permeable quality they possess make the stoppers particularly qualified for the generation of aerobic microscopic organisms. Both types of stoppers are extremely resilient to temperature and chemicals, display repulsion to liquids and are reusable several times over.
