Linear axes and axis systems are used in many ranges of industry to transport or position components. HIWIN offers linear axes with toothed belt drive for applications with high dynamics and speed. Thanks to HIWIN's modular system, the belt axes can be bendably combined into double axes and multi-axis systems depending on requirements. HIWIN linear axes with ballscrews are available for applications that require high feed forces and precision. HIWIN linear axes with linear motor drive fulfil the highest requirements in terms of dynamics, precision and synchronisation. HIWIN double axes HD are positioning modules with two belt axes from the HM-B series, which are connected to each other via a synchronising shaft. The stroke and the distance between the two axes can be freely selected in millimetre steps. HIWIN double axes are particularly suitable for applications where a wide mounting surface, an additional slide for support in the Y direction or as a basis for multi-axis systems is required.
