Flange nuts are the most commonly used nuts in ballscrews. They are easy to mount over the flange and take up little space outside the application. The flange includes a grease nipple which can be used to lubricate the ballscrew using a grease gun or a central lubrication system. Peeled ball screws with HIWIN DDB-x flanged double nuts are particularly suitable for transport and positioning tasks where a high preload is required to eliminate axial play. Thanks to the variable wiper concept, you can choose between different wipers for your DDB-x nut, depending on the nut size. The DDB-x nuts are typically equipped with a cassette recirculation system. Ballscrews with HIWIN DDB flanged double nuts are particularly suitable for transport and positioning tasks where a high preload is required to eliminate axial play. DDB nuts are typically equipped with an internal single recirculation system.
