Linear axes and axis systems are used in many ranges of industry to transport or position components. HIWIN offers linear axes with toothed belt drive for applications with high dynamics and speed. Thanks to HIWIN's modular system, the belt axes can be bendably combined into double axes and multi-axis systems depending on requirements. HIWIN linear axes with linear motor drive fulfil the highest requirements in terms of dynamics, precision and synchronisation. HIWIN linear axes with rack and pinion drive enable high positioning accuracy with very smooth running, high efficiency and maximum power density. The integrated lubrication pinions ensure that the rack and pinion drive is supplied with grease. Thanks to a freely selectable stroke in millimetre steps and a wide range of options (such as limit switches and distance measuring systems), the axes can be individually adapted to the respective application requirements. Bridge axes with rack and pinion drive are equipped with a closed aluminium profile and external HIWIN double guide in O-arrangement. This makes the bridge axes particularly torsionally rigid and sized for maximum torque loads. Thanks to the rack and pinion drive, the bendable positioning modules are particularly suitable for applications where high positioning accuracy and speeds are required.
