Continuous furnaces are designed for the heat treatment of large numbers of pieces with consistent throughput times and constant temperatures.
Continuous furnaces - processing of larger numbers of pieces per time unit
Transport in the furnace can be on chains, rollers or belts. The sequential operation of several continuous furnaces is also possible. In this case, different processes with different temperatures can be realized in one run. (e.g.: solution annealing with subsequent ageing of aluminum parts).
The characteristic feature of the continuous furnace is the continuous conveying of the workpieces at a fixed, constant speed from the charging point to the discharge point. Certain working temperatures in the furnace, as well as throughput times of the batches, can be realized within the system limits according to the customer's wishes. In the case of systems with sequentially connected furnaces for different heat treatment processes, alternative designs are possible depending on the space requirements on site.
