Bogie hearth furnaces are specially built for the heat treatment of larger loads. Due to the extendable furnace floor (the so-called bogie hearth), charging by crane or forklift is relatively easy.
Intelligent design avoids heat loss
Special designs enable optimum temperature distribution here as well. The inevitable gap between the bogie hearth and the furnace housing is sealed with a pneumatic sealing frame.
The door can be designed as a lifting door, sliding door, hinged door or fixed to the bogie.
The latest designs allow a non-insulated bogie to be extended from the furnace housing while the furnace door is completely sealed.
