The overhead plant was designed to be able to heat treat larger batches in a fully automatic pass. Therefore, the plant is necessarily equipped with a charging and discharging machine.
Automated furnace system for large quantities
Overhead plants are usually set up in groups consisting of several furnaces. The furnaces are charged from below. The charging machine moves under the furnace on a rail system and transfers the charge from a defined transfer station to the furnace.
The furnaces can be charged by means of a scissor lift table or a cable system.
Optionally, a quenching bath can also move directly under the furnace for rapid quenching of the charge. Quenching delay times of less than seven seconds can thus be achieved.
Furnace system according to your requirements
When designing the overhead system, we proceed according to the requirements of your company. Our experts from Upper Austria are here to answer your questions and inform you about the specific features of our models as well as the possibilities to adapt them to different needs.

Usually several furnaces fed from below by a charging system
Common loading and unloading station with automatic charging system
Minimization of heat losses by opening the furnaces from below (principle of the "heat bell")
