The SLFA-2100 and 2800 are energy dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometers developed by HORIBA Scientific. They are made to measure low sulfur fuels and RFG. They use an X-ray fluorescence system to measure accurately in a high speed manner. The spectrometers operate while following ASTM D4294 method for laboratory and field applications. Furthermore, they detect with a limitation of 5ppm in the sensitive measurement of sulfur.
These analyzers are sensitive enough to measure petroleum fuel samples with extremely low and high sulfur concentrations such as gasoline and heavy fuel oils. A large and highly visible LCD screen, function keys, and alphanumeric keypads are equipped with the device for easy operation.
