Description
This bench-top, manually operated, force-measurement test stand is used for pressuring soft sample materials during testing. It furnishes both precise pressure and displacement monitoring. The manual test stand can conveniently be used to study the properties of soft bulk materials as a function of pressure and/or deformation.
The described stand includes a hand wheel, a digital force gauge, a digital displacement indicator, a sample platform, and a fixture for Hot Disk® or Hot Strip sensors. It can provide pressure levels up to 500 N, and it includes disc-shaped compression plates of two diameters: 13 mm and 50 mm, respectively.
The manual test stand is only intended to be used at room temperature.
