Vertically mounted level alarms (ANV series) are designed to detect level changes in tanks or reservoirs containing liquids. The alarm contacts switch electrical or pneumatic circuits to actuate relays, pumps, valves, etc. or control indicator lights, audible alarms, etc.
They can be used on common, corrosive or dangerous liquids with the particularly severe service conditions of most industrial processes.
Principle
A stainless steel float follows variations in the level of the liquid and transmits its movement to a control rod equipped with a transmitter. The rod + transmitter assembly moves in a sealed non-magnetic guide tube and controls by magnetism the change of state of the contact which is protected in a sealed housing or ADF.
ANV models are mounted vertically, either directly on top of the tank (ANV-T series) or on the side of the tank via an independent chamber equipped with two side connections (ANV-C series)
