Horizontal Mounted Level Alarms (ANH Series) are designed to detect level variations in tanks or reservoirs containing liquids. The alarm contacts switch electrical or pneumatic circuits to actuate relays, pumps, valves, etc. or control indicator lights, audible alarms, etc.
They can be used on common, corrosive or dangerous liquids with the particularly severe service conditions of most industrial processes.
Principle
A stainless steel float follows variations in the level of the liquid and transmits its movement to a control rod equipped with a transmitter. The rod + transmitter assembly moves in a sealed non-magnetic guide tube and controls by magnetism the change of state of the contact which is protected in a sealed housing or ADF.
The ANH models are mounted horizontally, directly on the side of the tank or through an independent chamber (type ANH-C).
