The Continuous Rotary Cooler from Hughes Equipment will stop the heating process in foods that have been blanched or cooked as part of a food processing flow. This unit works well for pasta, rice and vegetables.
The Continuous Rotary Cooler submerges heated foods into a tank of cold water, thus minimizing the need to cool the product. The machine feeds the heated food into the cooling reel. The flow of food through the cooler can be sped up or slowed down so the food product reaches the proper cooled temperature.
Once cooled, the food is scooped out and discharged down a chute for further processing.
