The Hughes Equipment Co. Seed Corn Husker is used to detach and dispose of the husk from around the seed corn ear as well as any field trash.
Seed corn is fed into the infeed hopper through the use of a metering tilt belt. The hoppers then convey the corn into the vibratory feed pan which creates an evenly flow of corn onto the husking bed. Once husked, the clean ear of corn is then discharged for further processing.
Our huskers allow a variety of husking roll configurations to best fit customers’ husking needs.
