Description

Types: Two-axis digital display grating ruler and three-axis digital display grating ruler The grating ruler, also known as the grating ruler displacement sensor (grating ruler sensor), is a measuring feedback device which works by using the optical principle of grating. Grating ruler is often used in closed-loop servo system of NC machine tools, which can be used to detect linear displacement or angular displacement. The measured output signal is digital pulse, which has the characteristics of large detection range, high detection accuracy and fast response speed. For example, in CNC machine tools, it is often used to detect the coordinates of cutters and workpieces to observe and track tool-moving errors, so as to compensate for the motion errors of cutters.
