Hukseflux Thermal Sensors offers a complete range of sensors, systems and services for the measurement of solar radiation, heat flux and thermal conductivity. It has now added the SR20-D2 digital secondary standard pyranometer to its range of solar radiation sensors. SR20-D2 is a pyranometer of the highest category in the ISO 9060 classification system.
Thanks to the intelligent sensor electronics inside SR20-D2, irradiance is a digital output. The industry standard Modbus over RS485 protocol allows for easy data acquisition and error-free instrument exchange. SR20-D2 offers users analogue 4 to 20 mA output (current loop) too.
Individually tested for temperature and directional response, SR20-D2 is the most accurate digital secondary standard pyranometer available. It has the best in class temperature response, best zero offset and calibration uncertainty. The temperature response of every individual instrument is tested and corrected onboard by the instrument electronics, using a second degree polynomial. SR20-D2’s low temperature dependence makes it the ideal candidate for use under very cold and very hot conditions. SR20-D2 is a true secondary standard pyranometer: reports are included for temperature response tests and directional response tests of each individual instrument, as required by ISO 9060.
SR20-D2 is designed for the solar PV industry and is mainly employed in PV system performance monitoring networks. Take a look at www.hukseflux.com for all SR20-D2 specifications and benefits.
