Pyrgeometer IR02

The IR02, manufactured by Hukseflux® is a pyrgeometer with a heater suitable for longwave measurements in meteorological applications. It can be heated, which improves measurement accuracy as it prevents dew deposition on its window. It features a IR02 that is popular and often used in agricultural networks. IR02 has a spectral flat response across the full FIR spectrum, effectively from 4500 to 50000 nm. A Pt100 temperature sensor which is used to estimate the sensor temperature, and makes it possible to calculate the object's emitted radiation or temperature. The reduction makes it possible to offer an instrument at an attractive price level, while the accuracy loss is relatively small. Plus, the IR02 can be used for general meteorological observations. A common application is for outdoor FIR measurements, in combination with a pyranometer, as part of a meteorological station.
