Description
The space-saving rotary seal DS-I is designed specifically
for sealing fast rotating components.
From profile width 3.9 mm it has axial lubricant grooves
in the slide ring surface which guarantee sufficient
lubrication at higher speed.
The gap between rotor and stator must be smaller than
that of the RDI due to seal design.
The DS-I is preferred to the DS-A due to its greater
static contact surface.
Depending on the specifications and operating condition
it is recommended to have the running surface
hardened to approx. 56 HRC or hard chromium plated.
