IROSTIC® is Huntsman's trade name for a polyurethane-based raw material used to manufacture TPU adhesives. Available as a one- or two-component system the range serves four core markets; solvent-based footwear adhesives; industrial specialty adhesives; non-reactive and reactive hot melt adhesives. IROSTIC® bonding solvent-based systems can be used on surfaces that have been pre-treated by roughening or wiping with a solvent. They can be applied using manual brushes, rollers, and spatulas or mechanical spray and air guns. IROSTIC® non-reactive hot melt grades can also be applied as a powder or a film.
