Description

RV16-S6 is a screw-in, two stage pilot-operated, spool-type cartridge relief valve, applied as a pressure control device for hydraulic circuits with high demanding on fast response and low hysteresis. Operation The RV16-S6 blocks flow from ① to ② until sufficient pressure is applied at ① to force the pilot relief off its seat. The pilot flow cause the pressure differential across the main spool, resulting in the valve shift and flow opening form ① to ②. The RV16-S6 cartridge offers fast response to load changes in hydraulic circuits. *Note: Back pressure at ② will increase the pilot pressure required at ① to shift,at a ratio of 1:1. The RV16-S6 cannot be used in crossover relief applications. Features Fast and smooth response to pressure changes. Positive stops prevent springs from going solid. Adjustments cannot be backed out of the valve. Industry common cavity. Hardened poppet and cage for long life. Crack(set) pressure defined: Bar evident at 7.6 L/min attained Reseat pressure: Nominal 90% of crack pressure Standard spring ranges: Factory default preset value: 50% of rated pressure Fluid: Mineral based or synthetics with lubricating properties at viscosities of 7.4~420 cSt (50-2000 ssu) Installation: No restriction Cavity: VC16-2 Cavity tool: T/H16-2RC-T-G (Rough), T/H16-2FM-T-G (Finishing) Seat kit: SK16-2N -B
